Heritage history steeped in agriculture, Papa Joe and his family strive to produce top-quality spicy food products.

 Born and raised in southern California, Papa Joe’s heritage is rooted in both Spain and Mexico. In business all of his life, Papa Joe has garnered awards in the sheep industry, automotive industry and has even rubbed elbows with Hollywood stars like Ray Charles, Vickie Carr, Elvis Presely, Annette Funicello and "Mr. Ed: The Horse". “I’m proud to be an American,” Papa Joe says.

Joe and his wife, Barbara, purchased a ranch in northern California during the 1980s, during which time he served as vice-president of the sheep industry. Besides agriculture, Papa Joe has spent considerable time dedicated to the automotive industry — 42 years total in southern and northern California. The Rosilez family garage is filled with the awards garnered through the years with their dedication and hard work — a family value passed on through generations.

 Joe remembers starting his first business while in junior college, paired with a heavy work schedule, Joe started his own landscaping business and hired fellow football team members to help, later selling the business to a competitor after gaining the respect and admiration of his clients through hard work. He and Barb bring that same respect and dedication to Papa Joe’s line of spicy food products and strive to always give service with a smile.

 The Rosilez family moved to Paso Robles in 2004, the place they call home. “I love Paso,” says Joe. “I have met so many beautiful people here — nice people.”

 Joe and Barb Rosilez are proud of their beautiful kids: Joey and Cindy; and six grandkids, three girls and three boys. “I’m real proud of them and love them dearly,” says Joe. Their son, Joey, is an award-winning winemaker in the Paso Robles American Viticultural Area who owned and operated J. Paul Rosilez Winery until 2012.  Joe and Barbara are proud to infuse his products into their line of spicy foods.
